Jethro Tull's Locomotive Breath Video Live in Chicago 2012

Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson performs Locomotive Breath as the encore on this 40th Anniversary Tour of Thick As A Brick 2012 Live in Chicago.

This video is of Locomotive Breath, the show's Encore. Ian's solo band features two members of Jethro Tull: David Goodier on bass, and John O'Hara on keyboards and orchestration (see our interview and profile at http://bit.ly/JohnOHara).

Florian Opahle, guitarist, has been associated with Ian since 2003, and Scott Hammond joins the band with a jazz background. In a break from tradition, Ian has included Ryan O'Donnell, a veteran of rock musicals such as Quadrophenia, to the touring group,"work(ing) for Ian as vocals, mime and general stage tomfoolery".

Separately, Martin Barre is touring with his own band -- Martin Barre's New Day -- playing mostly material from the Jethro Tull songbook See our interview and profile of Martin here http://bit.ly/MartinBarre.
