Ironman 70.3 Racine 2014 Results Analysis and Photos

The 2014 edition of Ironman 70.3 Racine featured some exciting racing with Lionel Sanders running 13.1 miles in a blistering 1:09:36 to take a dramatic come-from-behind victory. After exiting the water with a less than stellar swim time, Melissa Hauschildt took no prisoners, surging to the lead with a 2:20 bike split and a 1:20 run. 

We've run the numbers for all 2161 finishers, and remarkably the swim, bike and run splits and overall average finish time of 6:09 was nearly identical to those in 2013. Our complete analysis, including correlation between bike and run splits are below.
