Ironman Lanzarote Results Analysis

Congratulations to all who finished this year's legendary Ironman Lanzarote (1400+ entrants, 13% DNS, 6% DNF) on a course that features one of the most challenging bike courses. Ironman Lanzarote's 2011 average finish time of 12:33 (with 17 hour cut-off) ranks slightly above average difficulty on RunTri's 25 Toughest Ironman Race Index.  Note that the vast majority of competitors were in the M18-44 divisions.

Ironman Texas Results Analysis

Congratulations to all who finished the inaugural Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas (2600 registered, 18% DNS, 7% DNF). With an average finish time of 13:19, Texas ranks as one of the top 5 most difficult races on RunTri's Toughest Ironman Race Index. Notably, the swim and run times are significantly higher compared to most other races.
